I always wanted a dog but my parents never liked the idea and finally when I was 20 my wish came true. My neighbor had found this little puppy on the rubbish bin outside when he was leaving work. He heard crying and found him and brought him home but he had another dog so he was looking for someone who would take him in. It was love at first sight, he was so tiny (probably not even 6 weeks according to the vet) I just melted. I asked my Mom and because it was my birthday I asked if this could be my only present. Best day of my life and it continued to be everyday for the 14 years he was with us. He always made us so happy, we laugh with every little thing he did, he was clever and protector and so loyal and the tears we cried when he crossed the rainbow bridge were as many as the smiles he gave us... and that was a lot of tears I guarantee you! It’s been 9 years since he died but we speak of him with the same love when he was alive. He will be forever a part of me a part of my life and I will love him forever and there not a day that I don’t wish he was still here with me.
